The Marathon Group Runs Off With Awards From NJ Ad Club
Mount Laurel, NJ, June 6, 2009 – The Marathon Group, a full service advertising, marketing and communications agency in Mt. Laurel, continues to fill its trophy case with accolades, most recently bringing home six awards from the New Jersey Ad Club’s 41st annual Jersey Awards Show.
Held on May 28 at the Chart House Restaurant in Weehawkin, NJ,
the NJ Ad Club’s annual awards dinner recognized the best in creative
and advertising excellence in the Garden State.
The Marathon Group took home first place honors for Newspaper
Advertising, Full Color, Any Size, for the Clara Maass Medical
Center Lifeline Challenge and a first place award in the Newsletter
category for the Medford Playground Project.
Second place honors were garnered for Media Relations Feature
Placement for “Pony Tale,” about the Juvenile Diabetes Research
Foundation. The Marathon Group’s own web site, www.themarathongroup.com,
earned second place honors in the Web Site Design, Self Promotional
category.
The Marathon Group took home two third place awards in Outdoor
Billboard for Clara Maass’ Lifeline Challenge and Radio Local Spot
for the Saint Barnabas Health Care System.
The Marathon Group’s Creative Director Ken Gleason said, “Receiving
