The Marathon Group Annual Holiday Toy Drive.
Every year companies across the nation shell out millions on cheese logs and chocolate baskets for their clients. And they spend even more on holiday parties. But it just didn’t feel right this year. So we decided to forego our party and gift exchange to buy toys for hospitalized children. And we invited our media and production partners to join us, asking for toys for David and Harry instead of a fruit basket from Harry and David. When Santa’s elves were done, more than 400 toys were delivered to the kids at Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center. The smiles were huge and the hearts were warm. And we’re pretty sure the kids appreciated it too.
